Special Office Cleaning Supplies

Office Cleaning Supplies have an assortment of features. While there are multi-purpose cleaners that can be used on just about any surface, there are also special cleaning solutions for specific items found in the office. Soft, anti-static or microfiber cloths for instance could be used to clean LCD screens and monitors’ plastic cases together with screen cleaning fluids.

While brooms, vacuum cleaners and mops are among the most common cleaning supplies found in both homes and offices, there are a couple of Office Cleaning Supplies that are not as common or familiar as they are used to remove very specific kinds of dirt, or used on highly sensitive surfaces. Unlike floors that can be wet with soap and water, computer monitors and LCD screens should not be cleaned this way. Instead, the water and the cleaning solution should be sprayed on a cloth that will be used to clean the screens. Spraying water directly on the monitor is definitely a no-no, and using tissue as substitute for microfiber cloths is likewise a bad idea.

Here are two other special Office Cleaning Supplies that are used to sanitize or polish specific office areas or equipment:

1. Anti-Static Cleaner for Electronic Equipment. This type of cleaning solution can be used to remove dirt, grease, grime and dust on different electronic equipment that have sensitive surfaces. PDAs are one example of such equipment. Usually, this kind of cleaning solution reduces the build-up of stubborn dust and is specially formulated with streak-free properties, making it more efficient than the usual soap and water cleaning solution.

2. Cleaning Kits for Keyboards. Offices that contain a lot of computers need to consider buying kits that are solely dedicated to cleaning keyboards. Dirt and dust may accumulate in between the keys and the usual rag and cloth may not fit in the narrow corners to sufficiently clean the equipment. Keyboard cleaning kits contain scrubbing brushes or cleaners that can be used on different types of keyboards. These kits also contain finishing cloths as well as liquid cleaning sprays or agents that can be applied not only on keyboards but on telephones too.
