A multifaceted personality, Andrew Warhola, popularly called Andy Warhol, began his career as an advertisement illustrator after completing a Bachelors’ Degree in Fine Arts from Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh. Born in August 6, 1928 in Pittsburg to parents of Slovakian origin, Andy Warhol suffered from learning disability during his childhood. At the tender age of eight he suffered from the deadly disease of chorea that affected his nervous system and also affected his skin, an ailment that bothered him for the rest of his life. In spite of these impediments, Andy fared well in his academics and later in his career that spanned from an artist, to an author and also as a filmmaker.
Andy’s career as a commercial artist working in New York was a successful one but his quest for attaining popularity for his skill as an artist he drifted into taking up painting. The exhibitions he showed them up with gained immense attraction by art lovers. He intended to popularize paintings and introduced a culture of pop painting. Andy later set up the ‘Factory’ where he built a conglomerate of artists and illustrators who could work for him to produce more of his paintings. The Factory became a popular name and was frequented by several persons of eminence. Andy went to the extent of making screen prints of paintings. That however received severe criticism from several quarters.
His creativity ran boisterous when he began to tread into a pervert domain, when he started making pornographic films and erotic paintings. Some of these like such as Blow Job, Lonesome Cowboy and Chelsea Girls are considered as underground classics. While Factory provided him with a platform to elevate it also brought him close to his death. He was shot at by Valerie Solanis, an associate of his, who turned antagonist over a trivial issue. This gunshot was near serious. It was miraculous that Andy survived. He underwent prolonged surgical treatment and made a come back but the effect of this dreadful act left an adverse effect both on his life and creativity.
Andy Warhol died of a massive heart attack in 1987 on February 22 while undergoing a normal gall bladder operation. His art and the philosophy of his expression has left behind a plethora of creative designs both famous and infamous, but un-ignorable nonetheless.
Display of his woks at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania stands testimony of the creative excellence of this renowned public figure of recent times.
The Reason You Should Consider Reading a Pride and Prejudice Sequel

It is a commonly heard saying that a sequel cannot properly rival the excellence of a classic, whether in film or novel. This is not necessarily the case when it comes to the Pride and Prejudice sequel, where there exists and exceptionally large assortment of sequels to pick from. With kind apologies to Jane, there are in fact a number of sequels that manage to do justice to or compete with the original. There still remain a number of particularly gifted JA writers capable of producing some high-quality, entertaining reads.
The novel known as Pride and Prejudice can be considered a true classic. It has been read and adored by a number of different generations during the course of over 200 years, and still retains a high level of popularity in the modern age as well. It is not too surprising, after all. Austen managed to create a highly attractive character with F. Darcy, the well-esteemed Master of Pemberley.
Darcy can be considered a combination of everything good in humanity. He is honest, loyal, gentlemanly, and courteous. However, aside from his benevolent qualities he is quite human in nature, and this helps to make him much more lovable to many different audiences. Although Darcy has different faults and character issues in the same way everyone else does, he manages to find the strength necessary to re-evaluate his character while challenging the mandates of society.
What has managed to captivate audiences for more than two centuries is Darcy’s struggle to overthrow his personality flaws and ultimately remain true to his deeply-rooted morals. Although his character is set in a much different world, the struggle expressed by him is something we can still relate to, and these still apply to the modern age.
Many interesting sub-genres are covered by within the Pride and Prejudice sequels encountered today. Some novels will contain elements of science fiction, murder mystery, horror, romance, and drama. Regardless of your particular tastes, it is likely that you will find a novel that you are interested in, because of the wide range of sequels available. Select the era that appeals to you, along with a specific genre, and jump in for an exciting read. Most Jane Austen sequels allow us to figure out what came next in the unanswered series.

Children of any gender love to spend their time horsing around with friends and engaging in all kinds of silly adventures. Playhouses allow the imaginations of every child to run wild in a safe environment. Kids love to imitate the actions they see their parents doing every day, and now many of these houses come with plastic kitchens and other built in accessories.
