First, you are going to need to clean the chair up. You do not want to donate it to someone with it being covered in food, old garage stains, or other problems. Simply take an hour or two going over it with a warm soapy cloth, and remove any stains that have built up over the years.

Next, you are going to want to make sure that the wood high chair is in a safe condition, and can actually be sold or donated. Search the internet to find out if there have been any recalls placed on your model baby high chair. If there has been, you will need to make sure you get it fixed before you donate the chair. Once this is done, you are also going to want to check the chair for any splinters or screws that could be sticking out and potentially hurt someone.

After you have cleaned it up and made sure that there were no recalls, you have to find some place to donate it. The best types of places are going to be local donation based thrift stores such as Goodwill, the Salvation Army, and Quigley House. These establishments help people get on their feet and run their operations with the donations that citizens like you bring in. If you do not have any of these types of donation centers locally, you can also consider dropping the wooden highchair off at your local fire department. Planning A Jungle Theme Party

Planning a get together with some friends? How about having a jungle theme party? A jungle or a safari theme party can be fun and different from the usual get-togethers. The following are some ideas to help you get started.

Invitations set the mood for the party. So make your invitations wild and fun. You can have invitations in the shape of animals, or use animal prints like leopard spots or zebra stripes on your invitations.

Decorations are important too as they set the tone for the party when your guests arrive. Go wild with your decorations. You can either buy or borrow these things to make your party a hit. Use tiki torches outside your home, if your party is at night. Line them up your garden path and your guests will be delighted. Bring out the holiday lights. Hang up these strands of light in trees to create a magical atmosphere.

Place a big zebra rug in the middle of the room. A zebra rug will immediately transport your guests to some exotic locale. Use animal prints everywhere, the more the better! For party favors, how about handing out plastic binoculars and pith helmets to your guests? They will immediately look the part of a person on safari. Go carts are still very popular items for kids in 2010. Kids love to have things that move and speed is especially enticing to all ages.
