Picture it, you are at your computer and as you type in “Funkydude” in the password space you think about all of the exciting things that you are going to work on. But then your screen pops up and it is an ugly, premade background with the company logo on it, de-motivating you from your work. So you decide that you want to put on a new wallpaper with a beach scene. However, your question is where can you get it?

Your first step is to decide what beach you want?  (That is, if you have a preference.) Would you like the white beaches of Florida…What about the beaches of Cancun?  California?  Australia?

Once you decide what beach scene, if any in particular, you can do one of two things. First, you can go to a website that has premade wallpapers and download a beach wallpaper onto your computer. The second thing you could do is type in your google search bar “beach wallpaper” and select images. You can then go to the options and select “Wallpaper”, “Large”, or “Extra Large” in the sizes, depending what is offered and how big your computer screen is. Once you do this, pick the image you like and then right click and select “save image as”. Once you save the image, you may exit the internet, returning to your ugly background picture.  You then right click and select “Properties”. Select then “Background” and then find your image under your images and you may choose whether you want it in the center, stretched, or repeating…if it does not fill the screen already.

Beach scene wallpaper is beautiful and relaxes you as you are about to start with your heavy work load.  It is good to be welcomed by a calming beach than a bland and boring background provided by the company. You might want to even search through the other backgrounds if you have a Vista or Windows 7 computer provided by the operating system to see if they, by chance, have a beach wallpaper.
